Trying to figure out what professional Christmas light installation actually costs?
I'll give you the real numbers β not some giant βaverage Christmas light costβ number that doesn't tell you anything about your house.
I work a little differently than some Christmas light companies.
You own the lights.
I'll guide you quickly on exactly where to order the lights you need, and they'll be shipped directly to you. They ship fast β usually within just a few days.
Once those lights arrive, they're yours. You aren't renting them from me. You aren't buying them from me every year. You own them.
My price is for the service β installation and removal.
In the short run and especially in the long run, owning your own lights can save you money because you aren't paying for the same materials over and over again.
And there's another part of my business that I'm pretty proud of: I try very hard not to raise my prices unless it's absolutely necessary.
Here are my starting prices. Every house is different, so the actual price depends on the size, roofline, access, trees, landscaping and overall complexity of the installation.
And I'll tell you something: I LOVE installing Christmas lights on smaller homes.
If you've got a smaller house and you're worried professional installation is going to cost a fortune, please contact me.
Larger homes start at around $750 and go up from there depending on the size and complexity of the installation.
Once Christmas is over, I'll come back and take the lights down.
Removal starts at $100 and the exact price depends on the installation and the home.
No spending your January on a ladder trying to remember which extension cord goes where. π
Because the first year you're starting from scratch.
You'll need to purchase the lights and materials for your home. That's an additional expense that you generally won't have in the following years because you already own the lights.
Purchase your Christmas lights and materials.
Then add the professional installation and January removal.
You already own the lights.
Now you're primarily paying for the installation and removal service.
Same basic idea.
You own the lights and I provide the service.
βI'd rather have you call me again next Christmas than see how much I can charge you this Christmas.β
I have customers who have been with me for 10+ years. Some of those customers have been locked into a price that I haven't raised over those years.
I try to never raise my prices unless it's an absolute must.
Honestly, that's something I really enjoy about this business. Having customers come back year after year means I've gotten to know them, their homes and how they like their Christmas lights installed.
Send me a text, call me, or reach out for an estimate.
We'll talk about what you're wanting to have done and what your house needs.
I'll guide you on where to order the lights and what you'll need.
They can be shipped directly to you and they ship fast.
Once everything is ready, I provide the installation.
When January rolls around, I can come back and remove them too.
This is one of the biggest differences between my approach and some other Christmas light companies.
The lights belong to you.
If you decide to use me again next year, we've already got the lights. There's no need to start over and purchase another set of lights just to decorate the same house.
And if you ever decide to use somebody else, the lights are still yours.
That's the idea.
Your first Christmas can be the more expensive one because you're building your lighting collection. After that, you've already got the materials and you're paying for the professional service.
I like to stay relatively close to home. My main service area includes:
I sometimes travel a little farther depending on the job. If you're outside these areas, it never hurts to ask.
I'm a 2nd-generation roofer with more than 20 years of Christmas light installation experience.
I know roofs. I know ladders. I know the tricky parts of a house.
And I'm personally on every job.
I'm not just the person who gives you the estimate and sends somebody else out to do the work.
You own the lights.
I install them.
I remove them in January.
And hopefully, I'll see you again next Christmas.
Installation starts at $250 for smaller homes. Larger-home installations start at $750 and go up depending on the size and complexity of the job.
January removal starts at $100. The exact price depends on the installation and home.
Yes. You purchase and own the lights. I provide the installation and removal service.
Usually, yes. The first year includes purchasing the lights and materials. After that, you already own the lights, so your recurring cost is generally the installation and removal service.
I try very hard not to raise my prices unless it's absolutely necessary. I've had customers for more than 10 years who have remained at pricing that I established years ago.
Absolutely. I actually love installing Christmas lights on smaller homes. If you've got a smaller house, please contact me.
My primary service area is South Austin, Buda, Kyle, Bee Cave, San Marcos, Dripping Springs and Wimberley. I sometimes travel a little farther depending on the job.
You buy the lights. I provide the service.
Whether you've got a small home or a huge Christmas-light project, I'd be happy to talk with you.
I love my long-term customers β and I'd love to add some new ones to the list.
